- Mark B. Newsome, Sr. Corporate Human Resources Manager, has worked for McKee Foods Corporation and Affiliates, America’s leading snack cake producer and manufacturer of Little Debbie® snacks, Sunbelt®, and Heartland® products, for over 25 years. He has been a leader in the Corporate HR Services department for the past twelve years, and serves currently in this director-level role within the company. In addition, he has nearly 30 years of experience in the human resources field. He is responsible for a staff of 25 human resource professionals, along with the HRIS and EEO functions for the entire corporation. Mark was awarded the prestigious 2003 Tennessee Human Resource Professional of the Year award and has obtained his professional certificate as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), awarded by the Human Resources Certification Institute. He has also serves as a leader in many professional and community organizations in Southeast Tennessee, including serving as a member of advisory boards for the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga, the SE TN Placement Consortium, and a local hospital. Mark is a devoted husband and father of three children.
